He asked me to marry me and then has gone really distant!

Question - (20 March 2009) 1 Answers - (Newest, 21 March 2009)
A female United States age 36-40, anonymous writes:

I recently got engaged on Feb. 26 and since then I've seen my fience all of four times, he only calls me when's he's at work or in the car.

And the pervious Thursady he told me he was too tired to go out on Friday that things had been crazy busy at work and that maybe we'd go out on Saturday or Sunday. On Friday night I called him to see how he was and it turned out he was out at work dinner.

It bugs me that he lied to me considering he got cross that I went out for lunch with my parents and he was all why didn't you tell me you were going out?

My other problem is that I've seen his mother and his sisters more than I've seen him.

My biggest fear is that he only asked me to marry him to make his mom happy should I be worried or should I try and work things out?
