I meet an exboyfriend for cofee at his request on sunday. He was apoligizing for past mistakes and wanted to date again. I was ok with trying again, we had a great couple hours and before we parted he said maybe we can go to dinner on monday or tuesday. monday he text and said he was finishing some painting in his house, no mention of his prior comment on going out. Tonite he text and said he worked late and was going to have beer with the guys. still no mention about maybe having dinner, as he previously commented. Am I over-reacting to this? Becuase I feel kind of let down. Is this a bad sign? Please help!

Umm yeah, sounds like my exboyfriend. He's being a flake and totally avoiding the whole dinner thing. I highly doubt he forgot, he's making excuses. Forget giving him another shot, he's proving that he's going to make future mistakes as he's already starting to make them. Yes, it is a bad sign. I wouldn't talk to him again.
