Question - (2 October 2015) 3 Answers - (Newest, 2 October 2015)
A female United States age 26-29, *eekn'boo writes:

So my boyfriend and I recently began talking as friends after we took a break from each other. During our relationship we did have sex and I lost my virginity to him. He knew that I was a virgin and did not pressure me to do anything but I did so because I felt ready. So while we were discussing why we broke up he asked if he was really my first. I said of course he was and he said okay.

Why did he ask? What did he want to imply?

Honeypie agony auntI agree with SVC

Some people (both male and female) have some pretty set notions of what they "think" happens the first time a female virgin has sex - pain, blood, shyness, scared... etc.

So my guess us that your BF didn't really believe you were a virgin - maybe because you didn't fit the "standard virgin" mold in his head.

So_Very_Confused agony auntif you want to know why he asked.. ask him.

IMO the question was calling you a liar.

He implied he does not believe you.
