He asked for my number. He's been showing up where I usually go to at school. Are these good signs that he's interested?

I have this friend whom I've known for years.

We go to the same school but we don't have any classes together this year. We used to talk all the time. But we got drifted apart.

However, just recently, he asked me for my number again, saying how he lost all his contacts when renewing his phone. So we started talking again. He's been complimenting me a few times in our chats. I don't know what this means though.

He also has been saying how much he wishes to help me in my studies and etc. The problem is, we both have this really big exam going on and he hasn't been talking to me as much lately.

But I see his last seen on Whatsapp and I know he saw my messages. On the brighter side, I have been noticing that he's been showing up where I usually go to at school. So I don't know what to do.

aunt honesty agony auntMost of the signs are good here, but you need to be prepared that maybe he only sees you as a friend and nothing more. You need to be prepared for that possibility so that you do not get hurt.

Keep things going the way that they are going, however you need to wait until he replies back to a message, do not send multiple messages or else he will feel you are crowding him and he will probably lose interest. Let him be the one to contact you and show some interest. More importantly just concentrate on your exams and then you can be sure to enjoy your summer holidays.
