But when he has a girlfriend I get really jealous even though we are just good friends and I don't think I fancy him.Why is this? I want him to be happy, I just hate the thought of him confiding in another girl. I hate the fact that however good a friend I am to him and however nice a person I am, he will always really want to be with the pretty girl instead of me#How do I get over my unfounded jealousy???

You fancie him, even if you dont realize it. If your jealous its because you like him. And you wish you were that other girl. All i can say about solving the jealousy, you cant really. Just dont let it hurt anyone and try to ignore it or find things that can numb the feeling. And i dont know if you have ever asked him if he liked you but, if you havent next time he is single try talking to him about it. Sometimes people are hard to read in this matter, for example i can be. A few girls i liked never noticed but once i said something they said they would of never known while others knew from day one. Also sometimes guys have things that they like that you wouldnt guess when it comes to looks. Maybe he likes your looks(example: i pefer cute which can be anything, its like personal prefrance), or maybe you think your ugly and your not. I hought i was until recently when i had 30 or so girls hit on me in a month period. Still dont know why they ignored me till lately o well....Hope i helped.
