He agreed to go to a movie -- does that mean he likes me?

I am nearly sixteen and so is he. I really like him. He really makes me laugh and I find him very attractive. The thing is I know he kinda likes this other girl because I asked him and he said that he did a bit and he knows that I like him. (I went for the straight forward but gutsy option of just telling him that it was him I liked). We have arranged to go to the cinema on Saturday. Surely he must like me if he knows that I like him and he wants to go to the cinema??? When I told him that I liked him he did say he liked me too. Before I told him his mate texted me telling me that he likes me. I asked him how I knew but he said that he can just tell with him. I spose I will know on Saturday via his body language whether he likes me or he is just coming to the cinema for some other reason but from what I have told you (which I know is not much) do you think he likes me??? I woulda thought he did if he hadn’t told me that he kinda liked someone else and that he didn’t tell me he liked me too when I told him I liked him. Please give me your honest opinions. xxx

TasteofIndia agony auntI think that he at least is interested, or he wouldn't of said yes to you! I think going to the movies will be a great way for you to show how amazing you are and for him to realize it. First dates are always very telling. Afterwords, why not go for a walk or our for coffee so that you can chat a little and get to know each other? (You can't talk much in a dark theater!)

Good luck and enjoy the movie, sweetness!
