He acts like we are still a couple, is it so I won't move on?

Question - (21 November 2010) 1 Answers - (Newest, 21 November 2010)
A female Australia age 30-35, anonymous writes:

My boyfriend broke up with me two weeks ago now and ended with still wanting to be friends. Two days after the break up he invited me over and we ended up having sex, bad I know. He treats me like are still going out and leads me on and still texts and talks to me everyday, it's almost like he doesn't want to give me the chance to move on. The other night he called me up drunk and told me he doesn't want me to move on yet or kiss any other boys even know he has had sex with another girl that night. He said he still loves me and that I'm perfect and that he has been missing me but he doesn't know what he wants out of being single or being with me. What does this mean? And what should I do? Help!

CindyCares agony aunt Wake up !

It means he is a little manipulative selfish bastard.

He wants you at his disposal for sexual convenience and ego boost, but he does not want to bother being in a relationship with you. He wants to be free to sleep around.

Of course this is a very sweet deal for him, and he is concerned about loosing it, as sooner or later it would happen if you'd start dating other boys.

He loves you ? Oh please. You can't possibly believe that .

Not even at your young age.
