mama1 is verified as being by the original poster of the question okay... so i let the hair grow out about a half inch and invested in an electric shaver and it shaves half the hair but it does not get all of the hair. It shaves some and trimes the other! so it didnt do what i wanted it to do but it does work out becouse theres not as much hairs and it keeps what is there short at the same time. More time in the bath is needed to get it to were we are both okay with it and if i sit the the hot water for 5 or so min. it moke the parts that i shave all off easier. thak you for your help

Try growing it out To atleast a half inch to where it starts to curl and see how it feels. Longer hair is softer because there isn't as much close to the root tugging. If you really want to have it clear, try waxing, this lasts longer but hurts like a bee with an itch.
