writes:Sorry a long question... i have been married for 22 years .. not always great but managed to bring up two kids. 12 months ago i meet up with my first love , he had split up from his wife ... we started a affair.. i know , stupid . at Christmas he gave me a choice either i left my husband or he would move in with his new girlfriend. i stayed with husband .. two months later affair started again.. today i have seen him .. ended up in bed , he says girlfriend doesn't mean anything to him .. he wants me ... he confuses me. i don't love my husband but i am very fond of him ... lover just twists me around his little finger... i know i love him and i know that i would do anything to be with him but can i really trust him ?

reader, anonymous, writes (27 October 2012): im married of 8yrs and i feel the same way. we have 4 kids together and he has another child with her. our sons dont even call him dad anymore but do call there stepfather dad. he is not there emotionally, financially, for anything really. but when we meet its great, we laugh, talk, and act like the couple we were all those years ago. he makes me so happy and complete. when we have to seperate he leaves me feeling jealouse that hes going back to her, but we know it wont work out its like mini vacations
