A female United States age 30-35, *ecaiskika writes:

So my boyfriend hasn't been texting me in over 2 weeks. The last thing I heard from him was that he was in the hospital with a lot of pain. The hospital is on base so I can't enter. I don't know what to do! Should I just wait?

DV1 agony auntGenerally with military hospitals, they'll give close to nothing out. It's a security issue... Call his chain of command. Most people have a phone tree with their chain of command on it. Don't ask his friends, because military people outside your chain of command tend to fill in the blanks with what they think they heard, which may not always be the case.

Tisha-1 agony auntWhy don't you call his parents, one of his siblings or one of his friends in the service? Presumably one of them would know what is happening with him. You could call the hospital to see about sending flowers to him to let him know you are thinking about him.
