Losing your virginity means having intercourse (penis in vagina). If it was in AT ALL, that counts as intercourse...You should talk to a doctor about birth control if you're going to be sexually active. Condoms are the only form of birth control that give some protection against diseases. They are not 100% effective, but they are an absolute must. The only guarantee against diseases and pregnancy is abstinence, but you MUST use protection if you are gonna have sex.

It sounds to me like you have had intercourse. Birth control pills are effective but you have to remember to take them. The side-effects, if any, can vary from woman to woman, so talk to your Doctor if you are concerned.

Birth control pills are one of the most efficient methods of birth control. If the penis was inside of you, no matter how much or how little, you are no longer a virgin. Penis in vagina = intercourse. No matter how long time, how short, how deep in or barely in... It is still a penis in a vagina!
