writes: Hi there, my question is about drugs as my girlfriend is very angry with me on finding that i have tried them. I have had probably 10 trips on e or mdma (some of which were bad and may have been mixed with ketomin/speed/acid) over the last 5 years but i am not a regular user. My girlfriend is convinced that it will have already have done me permanent damage and says this puts her off me. What can i say to her? And can anyone tell me honestly wether this is the case - that i may have been permanently damaged from these occasions? Many thanks for your time!

However, don't try to convince your girlfriend to be more open minded about drugs, you'll just wind up scaring her off. Just let her know that you're done, and you'll stay off of it for her, she'll greatly appreciate that.

From what I know of the drugs you've listed though, I think that for most people that level of exposure would be *highly* unlikely to result in permanent damage.
If she is (rightly) put off by such drug use, the point you have to make to her is that you tried it and you're done. If that's the truth, you should be able to move on. Of course if you still want to dabble with the stuff, then she's obviously not the girl for you.
