person12345 agony auntThe side-effects are generally just more acute versions of birth control pill side effects. I've taken it twice and one time had no side effects, the second time it made me a little moody for a day or two. If you need to take it, you should definitely take it. Most women have very mild side-effects but the side effects of NOT taking it, pregnancy, are far worse than anything emergency contraception can cause. Like someone said, if you do need it, you need to go get it sooner rather than later. Every hour counts.

chigirl agony auntI get dizzy from it, and some times tired, but other than that no problems with it. If you take more than one in each menstrual cycle it messes up your cycle, so avoid that. It's ok to take it when there is a need for it, why would it be wrong?

Tyedyedturtle agony auntI've taken the morning after pill once and lived to tell the tale. You should be fine, but do an Internet search or consult a physician if you have concerns about the drug. Hurry, though. Time is of the essence when it comes to the morning after pill. It typically needs to be taken within 72 hours of unprotected sex, or a condom breakage, etc. The longer you wait, the less effective the pill becomes.
