It's an emotional cycle-you're up when you go, excited and positive it works and then it's a crash when it doesn't. I took a break after 4 times (it's expensive too!)just to let my emotions catch up with me. Then went back at it about 6 months later.
I think if you realize that it is a process with about a 30% chance of working each time you will be more relaxed about it. This doesn't mean after 4 tries you will get pregnant. It means every time you try you have a 30% chance of becomming pregnant. Frozen sperm has is much lower, with a 10% chance. (that was years ago, maybe it's better now)
Don't stress yourself out over it. It's really a miracle out of your control. It's crazy, I was so "careful" all the other times (stay still, don't be overactive, etc) and the time it worked I was stressed to the max (my Grandpa had just died) and I had so much on my mind. It seemed to me at the time like a trip to the grocery store and back to life.
Best wishes and I sincerely hope you get pregnant SOON!!!

Personally I have not gone through IVF myself. But I know plenty of people who have, and yes they were worried and stressed that it would not work for them. Nerves are completely normal in this situation especially when it is something that you want to happen so badly. But you need to relax yourself as much as possible, I know that this is easier said than done, but the less stress you have on your body the more chance you have. Just keep in mind that what is for you won't go by you and what is meant to be will be. Good luck and I hope it works out for you.
