oliviaclairex agony auntThats normal it happens to near enough everyone. I'd say wax, it lasts about 3 weeks, and the skin is smooth the whole time. It's just whether you can deal with the pain!

Or if you don't want to wax I'd just say invest in a really good shaver especially for down there, they sell ones especially for bikini lines so just ask at the shopp! and some good shaving cream and warm water is best(:

Hi sweetie,

I used to shave down there when I was like 15 when i lost my virginity and thats ok if you have fair blode fine hair, but if, like me, u have thick dark, strong hair (irish and indian hair is like this) then shaving just doesn't work. What you have is shaving rash, very uncomfortable and is made worse by the friction of sex, for want of a better way to put it.

I soon learnt that waxing is much better, it comes back thinner and finer and less and less each time. You'll have to wait for it to grow out before you can wax and if you dont feel comfortable having sex during that period then just tell ur bf to wait cos u'll have a nice surprise for him after you have been to the salon after the wax and in that meanwhile, just keep him happy with other things ;)

It should be long enough to wax about 2 weeks after you last shaved.

Now I only have to wax once a month and it's so fine theres places where the hair doesnt even grow back atall! :)

Take two paracetomol (not aspirin or ibuprofen as they will make you bleed) an hour before ur wax and it shouldn't be too painful.

Also don't get waxed on or around the time of ur period as the skin down there will be ultra sensitive to pain at that time! :)

I greatly advise this over the hair removal creams as like gina said, it removes every hair, but creams often leave hairs behind that you have to shave off any way and they dont remove from the root so still could look stubbly.

Good luck and hope this helps! :) x

waxing from a beauty salon or electrolisis

having the hair removed by electrical current to kill hair folicle-will cost a bit more but results are permanent
