Your period means you're not pregnant. Just remember to always use a condom.

The reason the blood builds up in the lining of your uterus is to nourish a newly fertilised egg (embryo). If you shed that lining by having a normal period then the egg either was not fertilised or it didn't implant. So it cannot survive without that blood. To end your worry, just buy a pregnancy test from the drug store.
