I am not sure what this means at all.

 I'm not sure what it means either, but if it's any consolation, it's happened to me a few times. I don't think it's anything to worry about, your hormones are probably just a bit off. If you're really worried or this continues to happen, you should see a gyno. Sometimes getting on the pill can regulate your period and make it more predictable...just a thought. I wouldn't worry about it.
