I have a very big problem. I have a boyfriend who loves me infact more than I love him. We've been together a long time infact I'm presently living with him but the problem is that I have a scar on my left leg. Hot water poured on me when I was about 3yrs and it has been worrying me because one day I would like to wear shorts or just panties even in the day light and be nude in front of him. I have been nude though but not just standing in front of him so I guess he never noticed. If I did not have this burn on my leg, I would be a different person. I thought of tatooing it but it is all on my left thigh which is large. He just thinks I'm shy or conservative and sometimes I use net. Please help me what do I do and I don't want to lose him. Please need your help badly.

Hi Hunny

Your b/f loves you and if he loves you sweetheart he will accept you for the person you are, You say he loves you more than you love him but I dont think this is correct sweetheart as if this was the case you wouldnt be as worried as you are. I think you lack self confidence and therefor dont feel very highly of yourself...Im going to send you some links hunny first I have found a makeup that can help cover your scar so then you will feel more comfortable, Its worth a try and isnt to expensive for peace of mind....

I will also send you a link for self esteem once you feel better about yourself then you wont feel so unhappy and you will be able to relax with your b/f a little better...

If he doesn't know about it already, sooner or later he's going to get to see it if this relationship continues. There's little point in hiding it, and if he should decide that he doesn't like it and finishes with you because of it, he's very shallow and not worth having in the first place.

It's what lies within a person that is the important thing, not any imperfections on the outside.

My guess is that he knows all about it, but has chosen not to mention it, especially seeing that you live together. I hope that's the case anyway.

bayleex agony auntI wouldn't worry about the scar on your leg if he loves you it isn't going to matter. I have scars on both my legs after a dog attacked me so i know how concious it can make you. Try something like bio-oil apparently it improves the appearence of scars.

Good luck huni
