reader, anonymous, writes (23 July 2012): So many things go into attraction, but as far as "size" goes? Very thin and skinny seems frail and unhealthy. Very large is also not attractive to me. I prefer around a size 10 or 11 I guess for a taller woman. Curvy, but not too soft. Energetic. Attitude and interests are way more of a turn on for me.

My preference is slim, petite or fit women with an athletic build. I am not a shallow man, but I put a lot of effort into my appearance. I work out regularly, and run & bike as much as I can. So I am very fit and lean at 160 pounds, and I appreciate a woman who puts as much effort into her appearance as I do into mine.

reader, anonymous, writes (20 July 2012): All shapes and sizes except skinny and morbidly obese, I've been with pretty much all body types and they all have something awesome. Size of a woman's body for me is always related to how the sex will be, the physical.
My current girlfriend is short and curvy, and her body is heavenly. A smackable arse, lovely soft curves, just awesome.
Tall slender is nice because they're legs are just a joy run your hands over. Tall and curvy is nice because there's lovely conquest feeling to their bodies, they have strength and power in their bodies. Short and thin there's a feeling of power you can pick them and move them around. Big women have lovely curves and a nice sexy jiggle. Small women have tight bodies and are light.
What girls don't seem to get is that we guys love all body types, there are guys who like that anorexic model look (not many though) just as many who love morbidly obese women (the bigger the better).
My current girlfriend's body I'd say is my type seeing as her body type is the one most of my exes have had too. Big ass, average boobs and a lovely soft belly.

as a woman who is "fun sized" (5'2 and change) I have my pick of almost any man since even shorter men would go for me... I have been as big as a size 28 and as small as a size 4... I'm currently a very curvy 6/8/10... I can tell you that I have NEVER (even at 300 pounds) lacked male attention...
what i have learned is MOST men like a woman who is proportionate but that attitude is way more important.
I always thought they preferred thin.. but last year I was told I was too thin... bony even... I've picked up 20 pounds and my guy has said he's fine with is but he just wants me to find a weight i like and keep it.

Hi there. Everyone has very different tastes.
Some men like thin girls, some like more well covered girls with a few curves.
Some men like big girls with big breasts and curvy hips.
And everything in between.
What attracts a man to a woman at the very beginning, is much more likely to be something like:-
(1) A lovely smile.
(2) Lovely eyes.
(3) Nice teeth.
(4) Nice face and hair.
(5) Nice friendly expression.
Those things are the very first things a man will see from across a crowded room, and if he sees that that woman appears to be interested in him also, well then he will most likely come on over to talk to that woman.
Then her personality, voice, sense of humour and caring nature - will do all the rest.
From that point on, what your body looks like, won't matter too much at all.
And what men find most attractive about a woman are things like:-
(1) Confidence.
(2) Independence.
(3) A woman who knows who she is, and what she wants from life, and is happy being in her own skin.
(4) Slightly unpredictable.
(5) Accepts only the best from life, and nothing less.
(6) Won't allow anyone to mistreat her or take her for granted.
(7) Expects to be treated with respect and dignity, always - by everyone.
(8) Accepts and loves herself totally.
