What if she was a virgin but wanted to lose her virginity to you? My friends and I are so confused on this. Everytime guys (3 of them!)find out that my one friend is a virgin, they run and are afraid of it. But then I hear in general, that guys like it when she is. Help Reply to this Question Share |

Hi there, I can't talk for all men but my opinion is that most men, especially at college, are looking for sex due to high levels of hormones. The fact however that you are a virgin changes things a little. Men think that women will only lose their virginity in a long term relationship, which is the right thing to do in my opinion. The guys who appear to run away from this are guys who can't see themselves in a long term relationship with that person and so don't want to wait. So my advice for you is to use your situation to your advantage. You are in a better position to separate the a##holes from nice guys because you have a reason. Guys who are more likely to treat you right are guys who will wait. Your first time really should be with someone you trust. To answer your question, a girl being a virgin makes men more interested if they really like her and less interested if their only interest is only sex.Hope this helps.

guys that are only interested in having sex with you , probably run at the knowledge of you being a virgin for many reasons, some have an attack of concience, realising it would be something be for you and they would just be using you, some think well if shes a virgin then it aint gonna happen, some might think it would be awkward.
generally people who are in it for a serious committed relationship would love nothing more than to hear who they are with is a virgin to be their only one.
the best advice i could give is to get to know the guy better before bringing up sex

Speaking personally it wouldnt make an awful lot of difference to how I viewed a girl if she said she was a virgin. If anything it might make respect that girl more and more interested in her. Anybody who keeps there virginity, sometimes in a social climate where there is unspoken pressure to lose it early, deserves respect and admiration.
Some guys may feel that it is alot of pressure to be 'the one' who takes somebodies virginity. Alot of expectations are on the first time for some people and these guy's may well feel the weight of that expectation. One question that did occur to me was how old are you and your friends. Depending on the answer to that that may also be a factor. Hope that helps.
