writes:So i have recently stopped things with someone i was seeing for a few years, and i have had feelings for someone in his circle of friends, hes not good mates with him but knows him... This guy has made it known that he is keen on me, but has also said he just wants a bit of fun, nothing serious.... I'm a little confused tho because that has turned in to messaging countless times during the day, calling me when he's driving to work, calling me when hes walking his dog to see how my day is going, calling me and chatting to me about just everything for up to 2 hours!!! messaging me to tell me his plans for the night, showering me with compliments, saying "goodnight beautiful" or "talk to you later beautiful" at the end of every conversation. We have only kissed once so far, after 2 weeks of intense messaging, and he was so gentle and held my head in his hands and told me i didnt need ot be scared of him because he would never hurt me and all sorts of other sweet things!Im confused!!?? does this guy actually like me as more than "just a bit of fun, nothing serious" or is he just sweet talking? reader, anonymous, writes (31 October 2008): This is verified as being by the original poster of the questionThanks, i like the attention, as i dont just want a casual fling, which is what has stopped me from going further with him... he just says and does things that makes me think he actually does like me more than hes letting on! the constant messaging isnt an insecure thing, we just message each other questions and stuff or when we are bored! he calls me when stuck in traffic etc. and when walking his dog.

He also called this afternoon, cos i had not messaged him all day cos i have been confused, so he called to make sure i was ok cos he hadnt heard from me!!!??
