writes:Hiya! So there's this boy i met this year that i really really like. I kinda told him i'd been interested in him a few months ago; we've come to be decent friends, and he ended up asking me to senior prom. Sometimes---i like him so much---i feel the strongest urge you can imagine, to have some sort of physical contact (i.e. hugs) and especially to kiss him. My question is---i've been seriously considering whether or not i should try to make some sort of "move" after prom----like a kiss? Thing is, my biggest fear at the moment is that he'd notice me making the move, and would turn away/push me away. What a nightmare that'd be!! And while i've never seen myself as very pretty (as a matter of fact i have some pretty bad body image issues), some people and friends have insisted for some reason that i'm gorgeous and could be a model or something. If this is true--- (for you guys out there) If there's a girl whom you get along fabulously with, and whom you find extremely attractive...and she kisses you..would you easily be able to push her away?..or would you say in more instinct in that case to just let it happen? PLEASE GUYS I NEED YOUR ADVICE! it'd be greatly appreciated!! oh and p.s. when i'd told him i was kinda interested in him, his response was that i was cool and all, but that he wasn't looking for a relationship or anything (that was like 4 months ago)

I'm not entirely fond of the way they worded it, just cause i never said i was hoping for a relationship either..i'm not sure what i expect---or if i'm expecting anything at all.. so thank you, and loveuxoxo you're right--- if i don't give it a try, i'll always wonder!

Kiss him or not kiss him- he still won't want a relationship so I think you should do what you want, just don't have expectations that it will turn into anything. Kiss him if you really want to and then find someone who wants to be your boyfriend.

 honey i would say take chance because if you dont you will always be like what if i did? and always wonder what could have been. and im sure you are gorgeous! believe in yourself even if it may seem hard at times. GUYS LIKE CONFIDENT GIRLS. so give it a try. and if he pushes you off stay strong. and dont think its anything you did!! and he would be crzy to not be interested. you can do it! and remember HAVE FUN! its senior prom! dont stress! you will look beautiful and you will have a wondeful time! i hope this helps!! good luck :)
