 If he is tired you can't really turn someone on, I had the same problem with my current girlfriend, if I wanted it but she was tired, their was nothing I could do to get her in the mood, if your tired, your tired.
But try a massage, dim the lights, light some candles, strip him down to his boxers, rub his back and shoulders, then kiss his back, neck, but make sure he dont fall asleep, but a massage can very easily turn in to great sex, but do that on his day off, if he's tired he still wont be up for sex.
