hi there,

Can anyone please tell me if it is now possible to send anonymous text messages to people you fancy? I got a text a week or so ago saying " Someone fancies you". i knew it was not one of them premium things because i could not reply to it, nothing to text back, and nothing to call, just the message followed by some jargon.

I have kind of built my hopes up that its this girl from work as we have been flirting heavily for a couple of months now.

So is this a new phenomenon, and if so how could i send one back?.

Cheers.

Yes, you can send anonymous text messages. There's a unique new service CloakText (cloaktext.co.uk) that lets you send anonymous sms straight from your phone, without needing to be anywhere near a computer. Check it out!

Zim agony auntI have never heard of being able to anonymously send a text from a mobile phone. However, you can try to send one off the many free texting websites there are on the internet. I don't think I can list them on here, but if you look in google, i'm sure you will be able to find some.

If you like this girl, and she's single, then why not see if she's interested by asking her out on a date? If you don't feel that's appropriate, ask a trusted friend who is a friend of hers as well to ask her. Then you'll know. I hope that helps.

twilightdiamond agony auntumm, i dont know how old you are, but I would think that whoever sent this isn't the person who fancies you... sounds like their friends sent it to you. Theres no way (that I know of) to figure out the number, so I'd just keep silent about it. The girl can't expect you to know it was her, therefore she can't expect you to respond.

In the meantime why dont you just keep up your efforts with this girl from work. If she isn't the same girl.. well... a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush right? so I think its safe to say that a girl at work is worth even more than one in a text message.
