i had pretty much the same problem with me and my boyfriend.
we both wanted to wait for a while but then the makeouts got more and more intense
and i got a little nervous about where it was going
but then it was all okay
and i agree once again with CD up there
you need to sit down and talk about it and
always consider her feelings about this also
hope this helps ; )

You need to sit down and talk maturely about this. If you can't do this you're not ready. It'd be a sensible idea for you to visit your nearest family planning clinic together (google to find your nearest one) to talk about contraception and stuff and hopefully in chatting with your girlfriend you can decide how much further and how quickly you want to take it but deal with contraception first because then you can sit back and relax and take it further when it feels right. Good luck.
