reader, anonymous, writes (18 May 2011): I prefer it as my partner really likes being licked and sucked there so its a lot easier and pleasurable for me if it is hairless. But in complete honesty I have only ever been with one man who didn't totally shave everything off but he was always trimmed very short. Everyone is different though and I don't think most women would mind.

 I think the scrotum is the only place worth shaving if a man's gonna shave. But that's because of sexual pleasure. Not to be too descriptive, but basically if you want your balls licked it's better when the girl doesn't get hair in her mouth. The skin in the scrotum area is very sensitive and will give a guy pleasure if the woman does it right.
Other than that, don't bother to shave. Women prefer different things, but unless you have a girlfriend, showing up shaved will make you look like a player. And if you do have a girlfriend you need to ask her. Otherwise, don't bother with it. Keep it somewhat in shape, but don't trim too much or it will just look weird. As long as it's not long enough to braid it you're good.
