Hello. I am here for a question that might open a lot of doors for me.

Here is my story.

I have been lonely for 2 years now after my ex girlfriend left me for someone else and several rejections since then have made me numb. I came to USA 2 years ago and I did not have enough exposure to females. Long story short, I have joined a good community college both to complete my pending bachelors classes and honestly saying, to make friends and to find a companion.

1st week has ended today and I observed that everyone in the classes is silent and reserve.

They are probably as scared as I am lol.

However today at the end of the class, I saw a fairly good looking class fellow girl telling the instructor that she does not have Microsoft Office and she needs help with that.

Off course the instructor wrote her off and told her to go and buy it. As she left I approached her politely and told her that I have the purchased software with multiple legal licenses and I can help her by giving it to her.

She felt happy and said that would be awesome. In the excitement and fear, I did not ask her number because I have been insulted over this by girls in the past so my instincts stopped me.

But, however we agreed that next week in the class I will bring the software in a flash drive. I then introduced myself and she introduced herself and we left.

Driving home, an idea struck me. I am a guitar player. I make covers and post them on youtube and people like them. My friends tell me I play good. So I thought maybe I slip in my one of the best videos in the flash drive along with the software and make it look like I did that accidently and did not know that it was with the software once she sees it.

I have been thinking about it that no one can ever be offended with such a thing. Anyone will at least have a little smile watching someone playing guitar. And if and if by any chance she gets offended, I will just pretend that I don't even know that that my guitar video was in that flash drive. It is not like I gave her my nude picture.

But I need a girl's point of view in particular that if your new class fellow gives you a software in a flash drive and you discover that there is a video of the same guy playing catchy guitar solos, what would your reaction be? And would you come and talk to that guy with a friendly face next time and be inclined to be his friend?

Please advice me if I should do it or not.

Thanks for reading.

Better yet, bring your guitar to school and sing her a love song in front of the whole class.

Aside from that you could just ask her for a casual lunch/coffee and if she rejects you don't take it personally.

In my 20's,the guy I knew who hooked up with the most women also got rejected the most. The difference was he didn't care and he just looked for another girl that sparked his interest.

fishdish agony auntI think it's a little creepy; you don't know her well enough to sneak her surprise guitar solos. Try asking for the number when you hand her the flashdrive, or, ask what she's up to after class that day and whether you could join her/keep her company.

R1 agony auntSeems like an odd idea. You could tell her you play the guitar and if she is interested in that kind of thing show her a video?

Well there is a chance she might never look at it or if she does she might not tell you incase you think she was snooping in your files. However if she does see it and is impressed (whether she tells you or not) then it might spark her interest in getting to know you better though, so I would say go for it! There is no harm and there is certainly no reason why she would be offended.

So_Very_Confused agony auntI wouldn't do that.

How about if you ask her to go get a cup of coffee and talk to her like a person?

To be honest I wouldn't LOOK at files that I wasn't expecting... she may never even look.
