writes:My girlfriend of 6 months has hair on her nipples. It creeps me out but I don't know how to address the situation. Even thinking about it makes me shiver. She shaves other parts of her body, ie legs, pubic region etc. however I don't know how to even bring this issure up in conversation . Please help. What can I do?

reader, anonymous, writes (27 July 2011): Its really common, so don't freak out about it. The best way is the pluck them like you would eyebrows. She might be a bit offended or embaressed if you just say it outright, so tell her in a sensitive way. x

reader, anonymous, writes (23 July 2011): It is really common to have hair there. It is a question of grooming. It is a small thing that is easy to fix and doesn't deserve a lot of attention. Best thing to do is to trim the hairs with a pair of small scissors. Next time you are close just say something like "look what I found, as cute as these are can I cut them for you? They tickle and I don't like the way it feels" or something like that. Don't make a big deal about it and she'll catch on and trim them if you don't.

reader, anonymous, writes (23 July 2011): First of all, do you really like this girl? It seems like if you really liked her, you wouldn't care what she shaves or doesn't shave. You wouldn't get so worked up over such a small thing. Do you shave your chest or pubic area? Women are held to a much higher standard than men when it comes to appearance. Women have flaws as well, and almost all women have hair on their nipples. Some pluck it, some don't. If you can't handle your girlfriend, flaws and all, you shouldn't be with her. If my boyfriend brought something like that up, no matter how, I would leave him without a second thought. It's the ultimate way to say you don't respect someone. You obviously don't respect her at all.
