 That's cold! In the old days they'd just call you on the phone and rip out your heart(but enough about me. Facebook is an abomination anyway!

 I had something similar happen to me. Was head over heels
for a girl. She told me over and over that she had
never been this happy with anyone before, and she loved
me so much and couldn't imagine life without me.
As a young guy with very little experience in love,
i believed it completely. I was absolutely convinced
that i would marry this girl.
Then out of the blue, over the course of about 2 weeks, it all changed. She took a week vacation, and came back and told me it was done.
It devastated me. To this day i try to rationalize
what could have gone wrong.
I finally learned to accept that i just would never
get closure on it, and moved on.
I also learned to take ANYTHING that anyone tells me with
a certain grain of salt. It stinks that i'm such a
pessimist now, but what can be done? It's the only thing
you can do to protect your heart, ya know?

reader, anonymous, writes (20 July 2011): Impossible to say, how long were you together? Has she been in contact since? How serious were you? Etc need a lot more information to go on. Though if she won't say why then I think you should accept this girls decision and move on.
