I want a tall, skinny boyfriend that wears glasses. But,even if I find someone like that, they're into stupid stuff... I want to find someone who is into comics, Star Wars, things like that. My question is.. Where do you find them? Reply to this Question Share |

Comic book conventions. The BEST place to find the geek boys. Be careful though, there IS such a thing as "too" geeky.

I just want to say, you made me whole day right there! Ha! Awesome...
But just like any other interest, get involved. Does your school have any clubs, like an anime club or roleplaying groups or anything like that? Are there any cons in your area? Do you have any geeky friends or know of any guys with a nerdy reputation you could ask to introduce you to a gaming group? Heck, just make a point of wearing Star Wars shirts and see who compliments you on them. Look online for nearby small theaters that might play marathons of old classics and show up early to talk with others in line. Maybe find a small hobby shop and ask if they know of any small groups that get together.
There are a million geeky guys that are single and would just LOVE you, but yes they tend to be quiet so you may have to make the first move.

Hmm, if you want someone into comics and star wars, how about trying a comic book convention or comic book store? Check out if there's one near you. Oh and my brother is a tall skinny guy with glasses - he has so much trouble talking to women he likes (even now at age 28, but more so when he was your age). He's terrible at asking them out because he never thinks they'd like him too, no matter how many hints they drop, even with me telling him they're dropping hints and they like him. So when you meet someone you like, it might be up to you to make the first move and ask him out. I bet he'd be relieved if you do!
Good luck!
