If you're truely over eachother, then that wouldn't be bad. However, with most men, we don't maintain friendships with women we aren't attracted to. This would likely be in the back of your current BF's mind. It's a generalization, but it proves to be true in many instances. We always wonder the motivation of that ex, and why they want to still be friends.
Given your situation, him getting married and whatnot, it is a far smaller "risk" in my eyes.

For me, it depends on how much contact they have. It's one thing to be cordial when you bump into eachother, it's another to be talking all the time or calling/texting daily. How close a friends are we talking? The closer they are, the more likely they should still be together. I won't be a third wheel in a relationship.
