Question - (25 June 2009) 3 Answers - (Newest, 26 June 2009)
A female United States age 36-40, anonymous writes:

I was curious if anybody knew of any centers where I would be able to get help for free or at least minimal costs in the U.S.? I've been going through a lot in my personal life (laid off from my job, my boyfriend disappeared, huge debt) and I really think that I'm depressed and/or have anxiety problems that are interfering with my life. I've totally lost my drive and direction. I stay at home all the time. The day will be beautiful but I don't even want to leave my house. I feel hopeless, but I think the least I can do is get some help; however, no job means no health insurance. Thank you.

Lonely Two, what my concern about bankruptcy is that I won't be able to get ANYTHING for at least 8 years is it? I'm just worried that if I were to get married and wanted to buy a home or a new vehicle, I would screw mine and my significant others' chances of getting anything. But I guess if I screw my credit up anyway it doesn't really matter? I don't own a home, I rent so I'm ok there unless I have to move and they do a credit check. I think my problem is that I used to have excellent credit and now I messed everything up. So it's hard to do something like that when I knew I used to be good! Thanks for your advice btw!

Thanks for your input. Sure I'm getting unemployment, soon. Since they screwed everything up and now waiting even longer to get a check that will be half of what I made before. I'm trying to avoid bankruptcy at all costs. Even if I have to pay way below my minimum payments. Sucks. I'll check out the phonebook or something. Thanks again.

We have places such as my budget for debt in Aus and places like second story for mental health I'm sure they should have something in America
