 I'm sorry but you had no right at all to go through his phone. Those texts are none of your business nor is what they say. He is not your boyfriend, he hasn't taken advantage of you and yet you have disrespected him by betraying his trust.
If and when he's ready to take things further with you, then you can perhaps spend time worrying about things that might effect you, but as far as I can see, he's free to do whatever he wants with whoever he wants and you should respect that. How is he taking you for a fool?

 well i think you shouldnt call him and wait for him to talk to you if he does then you know that hes interested in you. Also if he doesnt call you then you are going to have to move on sorry.
