writes:i'm 16 an my boyfriend is nearly 18 and in the last few weeks we just kinda growing apart. we live far away so dont see each other that much but we used text all day everyday but over the last week or two he has been spending more time alone like. he will text me saying i'm busy or i'm goin to play football or rugby with my mates but he willl say that at 1pm and i will get a text at like 6pm so he bin playing football for like 5 hours then he txt me for like 10 mins then he go back out till 11pm plying football. it just seems a bit weird that he plays football like 10 hours in one day!now he has told me that a relative has come to visit to see him and his sister but his sister has been on facebook and i asked her where my b/f was and he said he's watchin tv on his bed. i dont see why he tells me he is busy when he isnt. should i ask him why or should i just finish it with him cos he doesnt seem to have time 4 me anymore x

reader, anonymous, writes (29 July 2010): This is verified as being by the original poster of the questionno he does do it a lot of the time. say he is goin play football i'd say 3 times a week and on a night around 6pm he will go out with friend till 11pm! i cant even talk to mates for 5 hours. so i have ended it. thank you 4 ure answer x x

I have always said that men need time and space alone or with their mates, as much as women do!
but this guy, 10 hours footy! LOL!
Maybe he just wanted to be on his own for the day, nothing wrong with that, i think its when he does this more often say like 4 or 5 times in the week that it becomes a problem.
then you know to tell him its over.
If this was just a one off, and isnt a regular thing then leave him to it , its just a bit of space, he was sat in his room watching tv , not out chattin up other girls lol.
If he does it more regular, tell him straight your not gunna wait for him to make up his mind about spending more time with you.
