Followup to the disappearing bridegroom...His family are avoiding me too. Should I divorce him?

A female United Kingdom age 36-40, anonymous writes:

A follow-up on my original question:

http://www.dearcupid.org/question/weve-been-married-a-week-and-hes-done.html

In response to the question asked "How well do you know this man and where there odd behaviours before your wedding? Change in appearance, change in attitude, becoming more recluse, more outgoing...?"

I'd known him since university, we'd dated for 4 years, got engaged. I'd known him for a friend for a while before that.

Before he "did a disappearing act", there were no signs that would cause suspicion.

I'm not nonchalant about it, I'm actually very shocked, the web can't express how I'm feeling as I write this.

As for the comment, "I do find it odd that his friends or family haven't a clue of his whereabouts." I've now started to assume there's something they aren't telling me. I've tried contacting them, but to no avail.

I've never experienced this before, despite the question someone here asked.

I'm in two minds, do I move on and get divorced, or try and find him??

Michelle
