Hi. I was just wondering how a man can tell the difference, in the office, between a woman flirting for fun and a woman flirting with intent. Thank you for your thoughts on this!

A female reader, anonymous, writes (4 March 2009):

Most women flirt because it makes them feel good about themselves. The only way you know when a woman wants more is if she looks at you a lot and smiles when you look back. She may find ways to be close to you or touch you. If they are not "interested" and are only flirting for fun they usually move on to someone else quickly, and aren't as "personal" (touchy, keeps you close or tries to stay close or be close often)

hopes this helps

If shes touching you inerproperly on the thigh of down your back, funning her fingers through your hair.Does she say anything in the manner of sleeping with you,or is it just a sertain look.Does she look down at your croch.Does she ever ask you out for coffee,or anything. Is there anything sugested or implyed, for sex and something more than yust a friendship.Tell her its making you feel unconfortable,if she is doing any of these things. If you want more than just a friendship though, ask her out for coffee, than dinner. If not report her to your boss, first tell her that you don't wont it to go any further than what it has and that it could not work out if it was b/c if later you broke it off the work place would be hurting.
