Fell for an exchange student

A female age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I met this exchange student, whom we'll call C, in January. He has a girlfriend but he and I became very close. I found out so much about him and he's genuinely a very sweet person. C held my hand, danced with me at prom, let me put my head on his shoulder, etc. but we never went farther than that. I'll really miss him but I know he's coming back this winter for sure and I may go to see my family in Europe this summer or fall. C said he would take me to a festival in Vienna if I could go and I honestly believe him. I don't know what to do the next time I see him because my feelings are so strong. Should I wait for him?
