writes: I am 46 and my husband is 47 we have a pretty good marriage.Until about 6 months ago I noticed the sex stopped and I asked him what was wrong.He said he doesnt know.I asked it he was having a affair at work and he said no.I also told him I am stressed,and cant stand the fact I am being ignored anymore.I feel he doesnt love me or feel attracted to me anymore.My self esteem is going down and he tells me he cant help that.He is just selfish and I do get attention from others but it doesnt seem to bother him.We are christians and my beliefs are very strong I do pray a lot.I am getting tired of this I am not old and I do feel like a old woman.But lately I have no intrest in much with him it is dying slowly I dont know what to do.

reader, anonymous, writes (20 September 2010): The only thing I could suggest, that sometimes, with men, their "drive" just doesn't have it's "oomph" it once did. Most men may try to hide that his "drive" is impenitent. Some are ashamed by this, and will hide it anyway possible... even if it means no sex. If want to talk about this, don't drop this subject like a gigantic bomb. Be careful, and good-luck.
