A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I have been in a relationship with my boyfriend for about three mi=onths now, at first it was amazing, beautiful, perfect. My boyfriend has a best friend who might as well be his boyfriend. His best friend is unusual, mysterious, and he was falling for an older girl in our youth group. this said girl gets on my nerves more than yu will ever know. I dislike her strongly. she has been in a relationship for almost a year. My boyfriends best friend and I discuss it alot. it started like that. now, we talk all the time. I love talking to him. I love figuring him out. i lve it all. What scares me is sometimes I will ditch my boyfriend for his best friend. I will talk on the phone with his best friend instead of him. I will text the best friend back, but not the boyfriend. I feel like the best friend likes me too, I feel like I am falling so hard and so fast for the best friend. Did I mentoin that my family doesnt really like the best friend. they love the boyfriend. I have my whole family convinced that the best friend is only my friend. I tell them, everyone that he is my best friend too.. It did start like that, but I think of him all the time now. everything I do reminds me of him. I love talking to him, and when I am not, i feel bad... He is a part of me now. My boyfriend on the other hand realizes that we talk alot, and has told me that he doesnt has his best friend to be a part of this relationship. My boyfriend makes me too angry all the time. I am miserable with him. He is constantly asking me questions and wanting to go out, and I cant take it. I am about to go crazy. What do I do?

johannabanana agony auntIt's clear that you are unhappy in your relationship. Tell your boyfriend that things just don't feel the same between the two of you anymore and you think it would be a good idea if two just stayed friends and saw other people. End it. The longer it last the more anxious and unsatisfied you will get. And you don't want anything escalating to the point where you cheat.
