We decided that due our age difference, with her being older, there wasn't a possible future in this relationship and that we would remain very good friends. We used to talk about everything and any subject wasn't off limits. The problem is that in our new situation I don't know how to act or what questions I can and can't ask now that were just friends. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.

It's hard being friends with an ex. I would suggest that you talk openly like you did when you were together. The only real "taboo" topic is your feelings for eachother.
Something to be very wary of. Any potential new GF will not like the fact that you're close with an ex. They won't like it at all.
