My man and I have just started to get intimate with each other, well try to at least. Everything is amazing but as soon as the condom goes on, he goes soft!!

This has happens everytime and of course he can't get his penis in when its not hard so we haven't actually had intercourse yet.

He says this problem has gotten worse as he's gotten older, but I'm worried he's just saying this to make me feel better and that its connected to me somehow.

I'm not on the pill so condoms are an essential for our intercourse. Do u think this is a serious problem which he should go to the doctor about or is there something that can be done?

This is common.. but it probably won't make much difference who puts the condom on... sorry Mullen.

There's something about all natural that is so much more arousing. I would just keep trying. When he goes soft, just tell him not to worry about it. Going soft is really embarrassing for a guy, and can devestate them sexually. They need reasurance. Give him lots! It will take a lot of time, so don't be in a rush. He'll get hard again in time, and with practice, it shouldn't be as big a problem. Try kissing his balls, and perinium area. But remember to reasure, reasure, reasure! Don't tease him (even gently) about it.

No, it is not your fault. It has nothing to do with you. It is not his fault either. Condoms are a real pain. All men hate them. It is difficult to explain. Anyway, there are solutions. Instead of having him take all the resonsibility, you might get involved yourself in the "act" of putting it on. If he is not too embarrassed, and he should not be if you have a real relationship. Try placing your thumb at the base of his penis when it is "functional"(on the top, next to the pubis,...you will feel a slight hollow place there) and press on the area gently. Take the "thing" and roll it on to the penis with your other hand. If you feel him losing the erection, wiggle your thumb (the one at the "magic spot", remember) It should keep him ready throughout the "operation". When you get the technique down, you can be kissing and whatever, while you are doing this. You won't have to even be seeing what you are doing. It should only take a second to roll the condom down. Then proceed as "usual". This may take practice, but,...practice makes perfect. Hope this helps. (men love the pill)

Hi,

It is a fairly common problem ask any guy they get stiff and the time you put the thing on it can be soft unless you can put it on like a ho in seconds!! However that said i think maybe he is getting a little anxious and needs to relax make foreplay a bit longer if he can last! and if all else fails you get yourself onto a pill that is suitable for your age do not do anything without a condom unless you are on the pill some guys will say oh it's far better bareback!! dont buy that you don't know who he has been with so on no account ever take this chance hope this helps and keep the pecker up!!
