I have tried to forget about him, but it just isnt working, everything i do reminds me of him, every song i hear. I hate it, it brings back all the good times we used to have but also brings back the bad, and the reason for us spliting up. Have you got any advice or help on how i can get over him? please?

I absolutely LOVE 'anons' advice. Every time you hear a song sing along "you were a cheating bastard... i'm so glad that i'm rid of you... i deserve so much better..." and change the station.
If these songs are coming up on your iPod, then clearly you need to CHANGE WHAT YOU'RE LISTENING TO! Make some "I am AWESOME mixes". Suggestions:
"Game Over" - V.V Brown (I think this one is especially good for you and your situation)
"Ain't It Funny" - J Lo
"Survivor" - Destiny's Child
"R-E-S-P-E-C-T" - Aretha Franklin
"I Will Survive" - Gloria Gaynor
"Get Him Back" - Fiona Apple (not that I recommend revenge)
"Devil May Care" - Diana Krall or Jamie Cullum
"Smile" - Lily Allen
"Before He Cheats" - Carrie Underwood
"A Toast To Men" - Willa Ford
"Single Ladies" - Beyoncé
"If I Never See Your Face Again" - Maroon 5
"Gonna Get Over You" - Sara Barielles
"No Scrubs" - TLC
"As If" - Blaque
That should help. I can not imagine a more empowering mix. I'm sure you can come up with lots more!
REMEMBER WHY YOU DITCHED HIM! Because you are worth a man who doesn't cheat and who will commit to you whole-heartedly. You are better off without him. You are a great girl with lots of cuties to look forward to. Time will heal your wounds, in the meantime listen to some happier music!!
Good luck, sweetness!
