Even though she hurt me, should I give her another chance?

A male United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

About a month ago a girl I really liked told me she didn't think she liked me anymore. We weren't actually dating. But now, a month later she is saying she likes me again. Should I give her another chance? She hurt me really bad, and I don't want to experience it again, but I really like her.

If you really like her, give it a chance. You don't know if it's going to work out unless you two give it a try even if it means a month later. Maybe she wasn't sure if she wanted to get into a relationship a month ago and wanted to recollect her thoughts before making the decision. It's better she waited a month instead of saying yes right away and then changing her mind, that would be more painful for you. Good Luck! :-)

We are in the age where people know what they want. If you were hanging out the way you imply it means it was something she thought of before and decided she did not want to be with you. Now she feels lonely and knows you have an open invitation..
