I have been disagnosed with an STI before (my ex-boyfriend cheated on me) and I'm just worried about the reaction of the people I'll have to deal with if they find out I've maybe got something again?!I know I've been stupid and I will be careful from now on, it was just a mistake.. But any ideas the best way to not feel embarrassed?

Some people routinely get checked for STD's I agree that 4 play generally does not transmit STD's, although if you performed any type of oral sex, some STD's could be transmitted. I'd just get checked to be on the safe side. It's better to be checked and be on the safe side, than it is to not and get a surprise down the road. As far as worrying about those who perform the test. It's their job, and you're not close to the only one who's been tested or that's come out positive in the past.

Better safe then sorry. Maybe you learned something from this.
Remember this next time you get naked :) And remember you are not the only person out there with a STD/STI so the sooner you get checked ( and cured) the sooner there will be one less with a STD/STI.
Just get it done.

First off, forgive yourself and wise up....Drink and boys you don't know do NOT mix....you got off lucky this time, next time you could be raped or worse.

Don't be embarrassed your doing the right thing by getting checked out, nobody will judge you.
You're being sensible and taking responsibility for your actions and making sure you're safe, so just look at it that way,the people who don't get checked out should be embarrassed.
:)
