A female United States age 36-40, anonymous writes:

my boyfriend and i have been together for 4 1/2 years. Lately we have been arguing alot about extremely dumb stuff. but when we get into these arguments and they turn into a really big deal. it even comes to the point where he tells me he doesnt want to be with me anymore but takes it back after. my boyfriend tends to ignore me and i have to wait for him to be ready to talk to me. ive told him numerous times that we need communication. he never tells me what is wrong, i always have to figure it out for myself. so we got into an argument again and he said lately ive been a burden to him but it doesnt mean that it wont change. i just need to adjust the way ive been acting or so he says, so i agreed and i thought we made up but he was still acting weird. i asked him if he wanted to hang out with me considering we were arguing and i havent seen each other. he said he made plans but still unsure of going through with it and he'll let me know. i asked him does he not want to see me? and he said its not that he doesnt, but we can hang out tomorrow. i feel like hes avoiding me. so i texted him telling him i'll give him his space because something seems to still bother him. but he didnt reply to me...so does that mean he does want his space???

It sounds like your both just adding to a list of things your annoyed at each other for and you just slowly move apart both being stubborn.

You need to with end it and move on and start fresh or start fresh with him and try not to bring the past up

Hope this helps x
