A female India age 41-50, *ujaSing writes:

This am married. My husband got his ears pierced 5 years back. then he met a man with more radical piercing. And copied that man. Now he is very reluctant to change them back to studs. I fear him being ridiculed by society.

Now he has purchased more nose studs and rings . does this other man have more influence over my husband than me? What can i do?

A female reader, Abella United States +, writes (10 April 2011):

Abella agony aunthi, if your husband is in business he may cause some customers to think he is more flamboyant and expressive (which may be exactly what is his personality) than his clients. It will not bother some clients. And other clients may think it looks silly. And a few clients may take their business elsewhere if appearances mean everything.

Of course if your husband intends to go into business selling this body art then the more he wears may be the merrier?

Perhaps this other man is also in business selling body art successfully and so your husband wants to start up a business. If yes then his body art will just be advertising. If yes maybe very soon your husband will want you to wear lots of body art big rings and studs and more too.

Do only what you feel comfortable with. Talk it over with your husband. Perhaps your husband enjoys being more flamboyant and showy than you realised? Talk to him.
