Does this mean that he wants to date me ?

I really like this guy but I'm not sure if he likes me...I usually don't see him that much and when I do we stop and talk awhile. I was at a party and he was there too. I fell asleep in a tent and he ended up leaving. He asked me the following week if I had sex with anyone that night and I said no. Then he asked where my boyfriend was and i told him that I didn't have one and he said cool me too. Then he sat behind me and was rubbing my shoulders. I later seen him in his car and he smiled, winked and waved at me. Should I try to get ahold of him and ask him on a date? We hang out with the same group of people so It wouldn't be hard to get his number.
