A female United Kingdom age 26-29, anonymous writes:

Okay...

I sit next to this guy in my history class and he is really nice, we always talk to each other and he hasn't ever snapped at me or anything.

Yesterday we were sitting and doing some research on the laptops about different wars when I asked him if he knew who I liked, he said no and started to guess people, he asked if it was him twice and I said no because well it wasn't. Anyway when he found out it was the guy sat behind us, he said it was 'adorable' So we carried on with the lesson and I turned around to talk to my best friend, (she sits on the desk behind us) she sits next to my crush and so that's normally why I turn around.

Usually he just finds the information then explains it to me because well, I'm really bad at history but this time it was different. He turned around and joined the conversation, then he started to like draw patterns on my knee with his pen, (a biro, not anything dirty :D) He's never done anything like that before and I really don't understand.

Do you know what it means?

Does he like me?

Please help because it's been messing with my head!!!

Thank you xxxxx

I think you should just go with the flow and see how keen he is...if he likes you enough he'll make the move! Just keep chatting to him, flirting and you could even give him some compliments to get him thinking:) Good luck!

that does make sense. hunny, you shouldn't give your heart to that jerk. did you tell him that he crossed the line by calling you what he called you? i think the guy who drew on your leg might like you. it kinda depends on what he drew. if he drew like a flower or loveheart or something, then he may like you. i think you should ask him who he likes so then you know. gud luck, hope this helps x!

Well, I do like the guy sat behind me but he can be a real jerk, today for instance he straight out said I was fat and that I looked like a pufferfish. I'm starting to not like him, if that makes any sense whatsoever? xxx

I thought you said you didn't like him, and that you liked the guy who sat next to your friend?

no, he doesn't like you, he's just being nice. but now that you've asked him if he knows who you like, he thinks you like him 'cos thats normally why someone asks you if you know who they like. its another way of asking someone out.

I think I like him, so what do you think I should do because I'm a very nervous person and I am really bad at telling people things like this xx

Thank you for the answers x

Most guys are generally very shy when it comes talking to girls and I think the fact that he made physical contact with you (eg the biro pen thing) means he's definitely interested.

I think he might have been a bit jealous too after you mentioned you liked the guy sitting behind you. So he did that to your leg so he could not only show the guy behind you he's keen on you, but he also wanted to flirt with you.

The question is, do YOU like him? :)
