He wants you both for fun. Relationships are toys for him and you are his possesions. In other words..to make the game work out the way he wants it to he has to play with you both. If one doesn't work out the way he wanted it to, he can trick you back into the game and if not....no sweat!! he still has the other one. So in actuality you came out ahead by not playing the dummy. You want to share because that's nasty. No need for foreign bacteria in your body if you know what I mean.
