Why is it that when ever i have sex with my boyfriend and im a few days away from getting my period we have sex and either I start my period right after we finish having sex or I will get my period the next day or so? he Just seems to just bring it down right after sex? Does this happen to anyone?

Hi there,
Well, it does make sense, because you have all that tissue in your uterus and sex and bring it on as it's pushing pressure along your vagina and likely causing these tiny little micro-contractions in ur uterus. basically having sex is like shaking hte apples out of the tree. THere are birth control pills that you can take so that you only have a period every few months (when ever you want it really), so if you feel like you 'always' have ur period then maybe that might be something for you to look into?

reader, anonymous, writes (26 October 2007): Yeah, that has happened to me before in the past. There is nothing to worry about but it is damned annoying at the time. Just make sure you use contraception and dont think that because a period is due you cannot get pregnant, wrong it does happen.
